The Little Book of Easter – Poem 4

The Easter Parade

In a bonnet festooned with flowers
An Easter Hen clucks to her chicks
It’s that time of year again
They all line up to sing
About chickens and legs
And then?
The lambs gambol in the field
Delighted by the spring time verse
Whilst rabbits all ears and feet
Hide lots of lovely treats
For all the little ones to eat!
